Concert and Project Offerings for the 2019-20 Season
Lawrence Stomberg is available for concert appearances in the 2019-20 season.
Below are the program offerings for this coming season. This programming can also be presented in combination, and appearances as a master class teacher are happily considered.
- A complete presentation of the Preludes from the Six Suites for Unaccompanied Cello by J.S. Bach, paired with commissioned companion works by composers Mazz Swift and Alisa Rose.
- Russian Masterworks, a recital of three great Russian Cello/Piano Sonatas (Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff), with pianist Holly Roadfeldt.
- Concerto appearances with orchestra. Recent repertoire includes: Elgar Cello Concerto, Haydn Cello Concerto in C Major, Richard Prior Cello Concerto, Dvorak Silent Woods and Rondo, and Vivaldi Concerto for Two Cellos.
